The Befriending Yourself Meditation Circle is an opportunity to find inner peace, foster positive feelings about yourself and create a greater sense of connection to others. The group is held in a private home in Buddina on Monday nights and is limited to 6 people. New & experienced meditators are welcome.
What can I expect in a session?
Susie will start with introductions and intentions before we begin relaxing the body, an important part of this embodied (somatic) meditation approach. You will be guided through a meditation that invites your body and mind to calm and your heart to soften, naturally allowing you to experience peace and your innate goodness.
Open time follows, where herbal tea will be served and meditators are invited to share their experiences and questions about their meditation practice. The group closes with a short loving-kindness meditation/dedication to foster a greater sense of connection to each other, to humanity and the planet/nature.
The facilitation style and group confidentiality/agreements create a safe and supportive refuge so each person can share freely and authentically and feel nurtured, listened to and honoured.
Benefits may include relaxation, self-acceptance, stress relief, spiritual growth and an improved sense of wellbeing.
